Lightning

In flying from Phoenix to Houston this evening, we encountered a thunderstorm over Odessa. The pilot announced it over the loudspeaker, and we watched out the port side of the plane as the sky lit up around us. The flashes were all concentrated pretty close together, though they say lightning never strikes twice in the same place. Having watched that display of charges, I’m not so convinced.
