Unlucky

I'm rescinding my rave review of the Lucky Boy burger from a few days ago. I'm not sure if different cooks make burgers of varying degrees of quality over there, but something's not right. The burger remains packed with bacon, which is a definite plus. But the burger patty itself tasted awful, mostly like charred grill residue. I'll probably go back, but for a b.l.t., which, incidentally, costs more than the bacon burger, implying that the burger meat is less valuable than bacon. While on principle I agree, it just makes me want to avoid the burger all the more.
