Horton

Went to see Horton Hears a Who! at the Arclight this evening. I love the Arclight - seriously. Assigned seating - which is totally plush, by the way, and includes removable armrests - huge screens, convenient location with parking, etc. It's a regular movie-goer's dream. Dinner at the Bowery preceded the show, and was delicious as always.

So the movie itself was pretty hilarious. Stellar cast of voices. The projection went out three times, so we never actually saw the end, but I've read the book, and we were probably about 83 minutes through the 88-minute film the last time around. The staff gave us complimentary passes for two more movies each, so I doubt anyone but the kids left in a sour mood. Oh well. I still love the Arclight.
